Laminated Glass
Safety glass bonded with a resilient interlayer that holds fragments in place when broken.
Two or more panes are stacked with a PVB interlayer and cured in an autoclave under heat and pressure, fusing the plies into a single unit.
When broken, fragments stay bonded to the interlayer instead of scattering, and the same layer cuts ultraviolet transmission and improves acoustic insulation.
